I developed the Starlink Assistant App (SLA) to simplify the integration of the Starlink System into my home Internet network, a task that proved to be quite challenging initially. This project was motivated not only by the technical aspects but also by a genuine curiosity and fascination for the intricate workings of the Starlink system. The primary goal of this application is to assist users in identifying and resolving issues, enabling them to fully utilize and appreciate the capabilities of Starlink. Through the incorporation of color images and detailed help pages, the app aims to guide users through troubleshooting various problems.

The app's main interface provides users with essential information regarding the system's performance, offering a comprehensive overview at a glance. The Initial Setup section within the app provides step-by-step instructions on unboxing, connecting equipment, configuring the WiFi router, and installing the Starlink Antenna (Dishy). Additionally, it includes links to YouTube tutorials that elucidate these processes further.

The Router/Wi-Fi section features a connection test between the app and the router, uptime status, as well as detailed information on Wi-Fi software and firmware versions. Users will find extensive guidance on utilizing their own routers effectively within this section.

In the Dishy segment, users can monitor antenna/Dishy uptime and identify potential physical issues such as motor functionality, temperature concerns, mast alignment problems, or unexpected locations. This section also provides insights into hardware and software versions related to Dishy.

The Satellite module enables users to track satellite connectivity, view real-time satellite maps, obtain information on satellite visibility in the night sky, and access detailed assistance on satellite-related queries. Users can optimize their understanding of satellite positions with the aid of the View Satellite Map feature.

Within the Internet section, users can determine the status of their Internet connection, review average latency times, evaluate Dishy's internet speed performance, access multiple speed test tools, and refer to instructional YouTube links outlining these processes.

The Obstructions section alerts users about potential interferences between Dishy and satellites, offering guidance on obstruction mitigation strategies based on current status. Users encountering tree obstructions will find information on local tree trimming services for their convenience.

The Support page offers guidance on accessing Starlink support services, obtaining debug information for troubleshooting purposes, and accessing popular Starlink support resources.

Finally, the Help page comprehensively explains how to navigate each section within the app (Setup, Router, Dishy, Satellite, Internet, Obstructions, & Support), enhancing user experience and usability.
